Get ready to embark on the manufacturing of a new, custom sign from Joslin and Son Signs, the only turn-key sign company in Nashville! We know this process can feel a little overwhelming, but as Bobby Joslin always says, “If you don’t know signs, know your sign man”! We are here to help you every step of the way! Please take time to read through this guide on the manufacturing process. Remember, every sign we craft is customized to you; please allow 6-8 weeks for completion!
Our Manufacturing Flow
Getting to Know You
When you approach us with your idea, we connect you with an experienced, knowledgeable Project Manager, who gathers all the necessary information to materialize your sign.
Creative
Your idea can now be turned into a work of art by our talented Creative Design Team! This usually takes 2-3 business days.
Permitting
A 50% down payment is required before we seek permits for your sign.
Our municipal liaison handles permit applications and gathers all approvals necessary to certify your sign meets the legal requirements. This typically takes 7-10 business days, unless excess approval is required. Once we have your permit in-hand, your order is submitted to scheduling for production!
Manufacturing
Your sign is passed through the hands of over a dozen skilled sign crafters who take exceptional pride in their work. Please allow 6-8 weeks for this process to be completed.
Installation
Once your sign is complete, the installation department and your Project Manager work cohesively to schedule the perfect time to install your new sign.
